Marike Koe

Marike photographes people and places. Her pictures are made out of her own intuition, without the use of a flashlight or a tripod. Marike has a style that registers her environment in a documentary fashion. For the ‘Haarlem by Night’ project she walked through Haarlems neighborhoods at night, creating images that captured
the light and darkness, both literally and figuratively.
